Like many others, especially women, I have an autoimmune disease. Though technically it’s two. For 2 years I had the diagnosis of Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD), with symptoms leaning towards Lupus, Sjogren’s, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. More recently, I have actually been diagnosed with Lupus. I still have the diagnosis of UCTD as well, because I still have symptoms that are more aligned with Sjogren’s or RA.
Here I share my journey and the struggles of my health. I share for myself, so I have somewhere to release the thoughts and experiences this brings. I share for others because sometimes it’s good to not feel alone, and whether this is something a reader might be experiencing personally, or if they care for someone else who is, I hope this helps them to at least not feel alone.
